Kalispell police arrested a 42-year-old man on Second Avenue West for partner assault after he allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by the neck and hit her with a pillow. He also had a contempt of court warrant.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Columbia Falls during a traffic stop on 11th Street West.

A Glacier High School student reported getting threatening phone calls and text messages. Officers counseled the parties involved.

Donated office equipment was stolen from a U.S. 2 business.

Officers cited a Sixth Avenue West resident after their dog tried to bite a neighbor.

A probation officer asked officers to assist him in arresting one of his charges for drug use.

When a man went past a Stratford Drive residence a group of youths went back inside. Suspecting a party, the man called police. Responding officers couldn't get anybody to open the door.

An Empire Loop woman received a strange message on her answering machine.

Between six and eight people were seen fighting near the intersection of Third Avenue West and Third Street. Another person called and reported it was two women fighting. Those involved scattered and officers were unable to track them all down.

A man refused to pay his $31 tab at a casino on U.S. 2.

A woman called police to report that a man who used to live with her said he hid drugs in her Liberty Street apartment. She couldn't find them, which is a problem because the man is trying to get custody of her kids.

A truck was spotted dumping cement on U.S. 93 South.
