Two Lakeside neighbors continued to dispute the ownership of some property Thursday. Workers, with permission from one neighbor, went onto what the other neighbor considered their property for some water and got reported for trespassing.

A group of kids were spotted trying to use a pickup to break down the gate to a lumber yard on Trumble Canyon Road. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies contacted the truck's owner, who said he abandoned the vehicle on the side of the road weeks ago. Deputies are trying to determine whether the kids got the truck running or just stole the license plates.

A burglary was reported at a Hodgson Road residence.

Somebody was driving down Parkside Drive shooting the white picket fences with paintballs.

Proprietors of a business on U.S. 2 believe a former employee took their fuel card and is using it.

Two men, who had been drinking, got into a fist fight on 12th Street East North. One of the men, who is on probation, took off before officers arrived.

A man was acting suspiciously in a bank on West Reserve Drive. Deputies spoke with the man, who discovered he was in the wrong bank.

A Kings Way man was bitten by a dog. Animal wardens were unable to contact the owner, so they quarantined it at the shelter.

A Lariat Lane man reported his girlfriend for child abuse after she spanked his kid.

The grandparents of a 17-year-old boy on Second Avenue South in Hungry Horse couldn't control him and called deputies. He left before deputies arrived. The report was canceled when he returned home.

Dead horses were found on Mountain Meadows Road and just off Wild Bill Road. Brand inspectors are investigating the deaths.

Deputies told a tenant and a landlord on Ezy Drive to communicate only by letter to avoid future arguments.

A man put his hunting rifle on top of his car while parked at a convenience store on Montana 35 and drove away. He was unable to find the rifle upon retracing his route.

A man in the parking lot of a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen saw a transient sitting in his brother's truck. Deputies told the man to get out.
