Polson slips past Libby

LIBBY - Brock Picard of Polson decisioned Steve Gary 18-7 at 160 pounds to give the Pirates a 43-42 dual victory over Libby on Tuesday.

That was the final match of the night.

The dual opened at 171 pounds.

"It was a good dual," said Libby coach Jay Graham.

"It came down to the last match.

"We're real young and they are kind of same in the boat," Graham continued.

"We moved people around and they moved people around."

Ten matches were decided by pin with Libby collecting six. Libby led 36-15 heading into the final five weight classes.
