Kalispell man dies in crash

A Kalispell man died early Saturday when he lost control of his ATV near Bitterroot Lake.

Troy Henry, 28, was riding an all-terrain vehicle on Lodgepole Lane in Marion shortly before midnight when he lost control of the vehicle and slid off the road, Flathead County sheriff's deputy Jim Browder said. Henry, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the ATV.

Marion ambulance took him to Kalispell Regional Medical Center, but he died en route.

The Marion Fire Department and ALERT helicopter also responded to the accident. The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating.
