Marvin Neil Brenneman, 83

Marvin Neil Brenneman, 83, passed away on Dec. 17, 2007, in Kalispell, of natural causes. Marvin was born Aug. 2, 1924, in Lima, Ohio.

He married Luella Alice Billings in Lima on Dec. 6, 1943.

Marvin spent 10 years in the U.S. Navy and four more years with the National Guard. He honorably served in both World War II and the Korean Conflict.

After the war he worked as a machinist at McDonald Douglas, working as a truck driver, before becoming a master mechanic. He loved doing volunteer work, helping the Veterans Administration, and volunteering his time working as a mechanic on automobiles. He enjoyed NASCAR, water skiing, fishing, boxing, and reading.

Marvin was preceded in death by four brothers, five sisters and one granddaughter, Laura Emminger.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alice Brenneman, of Kalispell; son, Larry, and wife, Claudia Brenneman, of Necedah, Wis.; daughter, Rhonda, and husband, Guy Emminger, of Kalispell; son, Steve Brenneman, of Quartz Hill, Calif.; Michael Brenneman of California; daughter, Patty, and husband, Don Skinner, of Lancaster, Calif.; sister, Violet Brenneman, of Bucyrus, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
