COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho - It's official: They can play with the best of them.

Josh Harris scored four of his 18 points in the final minute Friday night to help the Flathead High School boys' basketball team in breaking a 46-46 tie and beat Lake City High School, 51-46.

The Braves are now 4-0 on the season.

Harris hit two free throws immediatley after Lake City's Ben Caroll knocked down a game-tying 3-pointer. Harris then added a transition bucket off a turnover to make it 50-46.

Junior Brock Osweiler scored a game-high 25 points to go with 13 rebounds for the Braves.

The Timberwolves' 6-foot-6 Nick From had 14 points and nine assists. Jason Wheelock added another 14 points for Lake City (5-3).

MISSOULA - Missoula Sentinel's Mark Henkel scored 31 points and Andy Garland added 20 points in the Western AA victory.

The Spartan improved to 5-0 on the season with the conference opening victory.

Henkel made four 3-pointers. Garland had just five rebounds as the Spartans finished with a 35-18 rebounding advantage.

Ben Cutler had 20 points in the loss. Shay Smithwick-Hann added 15. Glacier is now 1-4 on the season.

EUREKA - St. Ignatius' Dallas Cordier scored 10 of his 20 points in the first quarter and Eureka couldn't stop play in the fourth quarter with fouls because they played with control on defense for most of the second half.

"They took advantage of our inexperience and pressed us in the first quarter," Eureka coach Chad Price said. "They made it a full-court game with our tall kids and we threw it away. We finished with 27 turnovers."

Lucas McDonald finished with 17 points in the win.

Eureka, which dropped to 0-5, was paced by Tanner Newell's 13 points.
