Kalispell police
Kalispell police received several calls Friday and Saturday from city hotels.
In one incident, a woman called for help when a man, possibly armed with a knife, attempted to break into her room. Hotel security escorted him from the building and told him never to come back.
At another hotel, an intoxicated man called and harassed city and county dispatchers until an officer showed up at his room and told him to stop.
Two drunken men and a woman were escorted from a hotel Saturday morning. The men returned about an hour later and again were shown the door. If they returned again, officers said, they'd be arrested.
Cases of sexual intercourse without consent were reported in Kalispell and in Lake County.
A registered violent offender on parole tried to get into a medical clinic after-hours to confront a doctor about "a situation." He reportedly threatened workers inside the facility Friday. Police told him he no longer is welcome on the property and notified his parole officer of the situation.
An intoxicated woman refused to leave a Second Avenue East apartment. When the annoyed tenant went outside to get away from her, she followed, punched him and left. Officers advised her not to return.
Police arrested a 50-year-old woman on suspicion of resisting arrest, assaulting an officer and her third drunken-driving charge.
Two men and a woman fought in a downtown bar Friday night. No one wanted to press charges, but the bar did tell one brawler not to come back.
Three youths were spotted dropping things on passing cars from atop Underpass Hill.
A man was arrested in a bar parking lot on suspicion of felony criminal sale of dangerous drugs.
When a friend told her he'd been assaulted at a party, the woman rushed over to pick him up. He hit her in the face. She called police, concerned that he might have a concussion. Officers found him and took him to the emergency room.
A man was found passed out or asleep under refrigeration units at a gas station. Police gave him a ride to a restaurant.
An evicted tenant returned to her former residence but was gone before police arrived. She'll be arrested for criminal trespass if she returns.
A caller was suspicious of the man checking each car's door on Third Avenue West.
