Sledgehammer incident ends with arrest

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 26-year-old man for family-member assault after he got upset with his parents and threatened them with a sledgehammer. He then took said sledgehammer and began tearing up his parent's Primrose Lane home.

A woman on Spotted Bear Road in Hungry Horse got into an argument with her father during which threats were made. Deputies settled the argument and sent the man somewhere else for the night. Alcohol was involved.

In separate incidents, people reported hearing shots 12th Avenue West North in Columbia Falls and Meadowlark Lane in Whitefish.

Possible drug activity was reported on Shady Lane.

A car rolled over on Montana 35, but no one was injured.

Animal wardens searched for three dogs reportedly on the loose in the Shadow Lane area.
