Boy arrested for lifting beer, cigarettes

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies arrested a boy for allegedly breaking into a Hungry Horse gas station and making off with beer and cigarettes.

An Antelope Trail renter was accused of leaving their cat behind and not making arrangements to feed it. The renter, however, told deputies they came back to feed the cat every day.

Wheels were stolen off a pickup truck parked at a dealership on Ninth Street West.

Men reported fighting in Hungry Horse were gone when deputies arrived. The matter is under investigation.

A quilt was stolen from a professional center near Columbia Falls.

A customer reported buying furniture from a store on U.S. 2 with a credit card and never receiving the goods.

A car drove into a Spotted Bear Road yard and damaged some property.

The new owner of a car told deputies the former owner calls daily and leaves harassing messages asking for payment.

A telephone company employee was working on a problem at a Bernard Road residence. The homeowner parked behind the worker and refused to move her car. Deputies helped the pair settle the argument.

A 17-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by a man at a Bigfork bowling alley after some sort of disagreement. The pair reportedly took it outside, where the boy was punched in the eye.

Three 17-year-old girls were charged with theft after attempting to steal costume jewelry and clothes from a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A 16-year-old boy was reportedly assaulted by two men on Big Mountain. The boy and his mother want to file charges, but couldn't give deputies a description of the suspects. The boy was eventually taken to North Valley Hospital with minor injuries.

Proprietors of a business on Montana 35 in Bigfork reported losing a money bag with $200 inside, just in case someone had turned it in.

A Lakeside woman told deputies a man tried to run her over.

A 26-year-old woman on Harmony Road locked herself in a bedroom after getting into an argument with her 39-year-old boyfriend, who had been drinking.

A Redfield Lane woman called deputies to report she had been assaulted. She later called back and canceled the complaint.
