James Paul Holmes passed away Thursday afternoon, Dec. 27, 2007, as the result of a tragic automobile accident while on his way home from work. "God needed one more angel and took Jimmy to be home with him."

Jimmy attended local schools, graduating from Butte High School in 1996. He was employed for more than 10 years, as a cook at the War Bonnet Inn. He also was employed by Pioneer Weed Control before relocating to Kalispell. In Kalispell, he was employed as a cook at Heritage Place and Sizzler. He was currently employed as an electrical technician at Connector Technology Inc.

Jimmy was a devoted husband, loving father, and adored brother, son, grandson, and friend. He lived, and loved, life to its fullest. He enjoyed listening to I.C.P. and watching his all-time favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts. Jimmy enjoyed his time spent tinkering on automobiles.

He loved the great outdoors and all the pleasures it had to offer, such as fishing and camping with family and friends. An avid hunter, he was thrilled to see his son shoot his first buck this past hunting season. He loved to display his talent as a cook whenever there was a gathering. Jimmy also loved to return to Butte to visit his family and friends. For all his pleasures and pastimes, the greatest joy in his life was people and the time spent with his family, friends, and co-workers. He will forever remain loved and missed by all who knew him.
