Kalispell police

Kalispell police called a tow truck after someone summoned an officer to Fourth Avenue EN, where a baby was locked in a vehicle.

The pickup driver allegedly was speeding, changing lanes and cutting off other drivers, and ran a red light, so police checked it out. He denied it, but still got a talking-to.

Somebody was just locking up the church for the night when they spotted a woman enter but never exit. They checked all the rooms. So did police, but the mystery visitor vanished.

A car in the fast-food drive-through had a belligerent driver and the aroma of alcohol. Police discovered it was the passenger who was intoxicated. A taxi driver got another fare that night.

Police stopped an 18-year-old man on West Idaho, then charged him with possession of dangerous drugs, obstructing a police officer and having no liability insurance.

Sledders at the Woodland Park warming hut got the word at 11:30 Tuesday night that the park was closed.

Tail lights on two delivery trucks at the Meridian Avenue post office parking lot were damaged.

It looked like the two helmet-less kids riding a four-wheeler on White Bark Lane weren't even five years old. Police will never know; the kids couldn't be found.
