Whitefish police checked into damage caused when a delivery driver hit a building in the road where Grouse Mountain Estates is gated, and discovered the driver had a suspended license. He was charged with both offenses.
A good Samaritan found a pair of skis on Baker Avenue and brought them to the police station. Turned out they had fallen off the Grouse Mountain Lodge van that gives skiers a lift to the slopes. Skis and skier were reunited.
People who stopped along a street and dropped off a dog are being tracked down.
A 15-year-old girl was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and tobacco at Whitefish High School.
