Flathead County

| February 8, 2007 1:00 AM

Flathead County sheriff's deputies are investigating a break-in on Pheasant Drive in Evergreen. A stereo was among the items stolen.

Some "weird items" were left on a Sunset Drive resident's doorstep. Details didn't follow.

If it weren't for bad luck … A man spent 15 months in jail, only to discover his vehicle was missing from the tow yard. He said his ex-girlfriend sold it, along with his other property.

Suspicions of a teenage drinking party on Stoner Creek Road were unfounded.

Also on Stoner Creek Road, two males fought over a woman's belt. One threatened to come back and pop her boyfriend.

Someone attempted making calls on a phone that was lost at a fire scene the night before.

Loading children into a little cart on a four-wheeler, with no belts to secure them, is a bad idea, the deputy told the mom. Hopefully, the report added, they will not do that again.
