A man driving a pickup

A man driving a pickup south on Whitefish Stage Road missed a curve, bounced off a guardrail, and spun through some bushes to hit a house Sunday afternoon just north of the Whitefish Stage Road Bridge over the Stillwater River, the Montana Highway Patrol said.

The house won the collision by a knockout. The driver was not injured, but was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for another medical condition. The Evergreen and Kalispell fire departments also responded.
