Jean Gladys (Meinz) Savage, 81, of Armington died of cancer Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at Peace Hospice in Great Falls.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Belt.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Lawrence Savage, on Oct. 16, 1996; and a brother, Richard Joseph "Junie" Meinz, killed in action in Korea on July 26, 1952.

Jean is survived by six children, Jeffrey Savage of Great Falls, Richard Savage of East Helena, Tracy Savage of Lakeside, Troy and Blossom Savage of Missoula, Carol Savage of East Glacier Park, and Dean and Sarah Savage of Bozeman. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as her brother, Mike Meinz, of Cameron Park, Calif.
