State hosts meeting on U.S. 93 safety tonight in Lakeside

A public meeting about proposed safety improvements to U.S. 93 south of Lakeside takes place tonight in the Lakeside Community Chapel.

The Montana Department of Transportation will host the meeting, which runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The project is intended to improve safety near the intersection of U.S. 93 and Political Hill Road.

The meeting will include an update and discussion of a conceptual-design investigation that was prompted by an earlier public meeting.
