Braves finish on sour note

BUTTE - Flathead fell to Butte 53-31 Saturday in boys basketball to close out regularseason play with a 6-6 mark in Western AA play, 12-8 overall.

The Braves shot just 20 percent (10 of 50) for the game and were held to two five-point quarters - the first and third.

The Bulldogs, the Western AA champs, outscored Flathead 29-14 in the final half.

Michael Gallagher led Flathead in scoring with nine points.

Butte's Tyler Gilder led all scorers with 12.
