Flathead County sheriff's deputies arrested a 20-year-old man for obstructing a peace officer during a traffic stop at Many Lakes.

A 40-year-old man was arrested for his fourth DUI, a felony, after a traffic stop on U.S. 2 near Mark Weed Auto. His passenger, a 34-year-old man, was sent to Lincoln County for an outstanding traffic warrant.

The 23-year-old man banged around the Shady Lane resident's shed and others' houses, possibly trying to steal gas. So he was arrested for theft and criminal trespass to a vehicle.

The guy seemed intoxicated as he hung around the Town Pump store and casino across from the Blue Moon, asking patrons for a ride home. He eventually got one.

A deputy lectured a parent and student at Bigfork Middle School.

Mystery surrounded a barbecue's propane tank valve being turned on, along with that of an oxygen bottle on the front seat and footprints leading away from the car on Shady Lane.
