Snowmobiler identified

The man killed in a Canyon Creek area snowmobile accident Saturday has been identified as Mark Trebas, 25, of Columbia Falls.

He suffered head injuries at 10:50 a.m. Saturday when his snowmobile ran into a tree near the intersection of Trumbull Creek and South Canyon Creek, said the Flathead County Sheriff's Office on Sunday.

He was airlifted by Life Flight to Saint Patrick's Hospital in Missoula, where he died at 2:05 p.m. Saturday.
