Whitefish Police made eight arrests on New Year's Eve for a variety of disorderly behaviors.

On Monday, Highway Patrol brought in two men who seemed to be intoxicated. One, a 60-year-old man, complained of chest pains and was taken to the hospital. He made an escape a short time later in just a Carhartt jacket, socks, and his underwear. He was caught and returned to the hospital.
