RONAN - Kaylee Larson's 3-point field goal at the buzzer helped Ronan edge Eureka 39-36 Tuesday in Northwestern A girls basketball play.

Ronan outscored Eureka 13-9 in the final frame.

"We controlled the game early," said Eureka coach John Hammond.

"Turnovers did us in."

Eureka had 34 turnovers for the contest.

Amy Roberts led Eureka with 16 points.

EUREKA - Isiah Linnell scored 16 points, including the final three for Eureka with a trey with 37 seconds remaining, as the Lions held on for a win over Ronan on Tuesday.

It was a Northwestern A contest for both teams.

"We had the lead and just didn't get to the free throw line and get it done," said Eureka coach Eric Stang.

Eureka went 4-for-14 from the charity stripe.

Eureka missed several free throws down the stretch, which could have iced the contest.

Ronan's Moss Tanner put up a three with time running out that hit the front the rim.
