Mark Trebas, 24, of Columbia Falls passed away Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

He was born July 1, 1982, in Billings to William and Vicky Trebas.

Mark grew up and received his early education in Deer Park. He graduated from Columbia Falls High School. He was working for Saga Exploration at the time of his death.

Mark was a man that words will never describe. He was a person with a huge heart and one who had an unselfish nature to him, that so many will never know. Mark was a very big and strong man, but perhaps it was what he did for so many others that brought out a part of him much bigger than his arms. He put others first before himself and made sure everyone around him was happy and content.

Mark enjoyed many things throughout his life. He loved hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He enjoyed laughing and being laughed at, with his loved ones. He liked getting dirty or greasy by doing basically anything himself or anyone else asked him to help with. Mark liked multiple things, but he had a passion of a different nature. His true passion in life was his boots, pants and hat. He looked like a country singer at a concert. We all teased him for it but loved him for it.

Mark was a teacher to all who listened and helped all who asked whether he wanted to or not. It was just his nature to help.

He will always be remembered as our big muscled, red-headed, freckle-faced man. We will never forget the joy he brought to each and every one of our lives. He will be forever loved and admired for all he gave, and he will be remembered indefinitely. We love you Mark.

He is survived by his parents William and Vicky Trebas of Columbia Falls; two brothers; Jason Duval and Bill Trebas; his twin sister, Marika Trebas; his love, Caity McMurray; his nephew, Kyle Duval, his second family; The Walters of Columbia Falls; many aunts, uncles in Kalispell, Columbia Falls and Billings; also his many cousins and friends that were a part of his family.

Funeral services for Mark Trebas will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at The Christian Center in Kalispell. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Mortuary Chapel.

Johnson Mortuary and Crematory is caring for Mark's family.
