Kalispell police

| January 5, 2007 1:00 AM

Kalispell police were called about invisible noisemakers Wednesday night. On Eighth Street East, the complaint was about loud music and fighting, but officers found no one at the home. On Seventh Avenue East, it sounded as if someone knocked on the window, but no one was there. Someone else who couldn't be found was the man with a flashlight who lurked in bushes on 12th Street East and went through mailboxes.

Noise on Liberty Street after midnight was made by a woman who agreed to keep it down. Disturbances were reported at Sawbuck's and on Third Avenue East, where a man threw his belongings around.

A resident on First Avenue East reported a call that started and ended with, "Ha ha!"

A man reported that a teenage driver near the Jehovah's Witnesses church shouted obscenities at the man's wife and nearly ran them off the road.

A boy was arrested after an assault report at the junior high school.

A woman who found a youth's identification at her house wondered what he had been doing there. A couple of weeks ago, she found a skateboard there, too.
