The Flathead County Sheriff's Office is investigating possible arson in a Saturday evening building fire east of McGregor Lake, which included several explosions that possibly were caused by burning ammunition. The explosions apparently also damaged nearby trees. No one was injured, though some people fled the burning building. The Fisher River, Marion and Smith Valley fire departments handled the fire.

Also on Saturday, a sexual-assault check was conducted at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

A dead cow was found on Bachelor Grade after coyotes and birds tore it up.

A marijuana plant was found early Sunday morning in the room of a 16-year-old boy on Lindsay Lane.

Zanax and lithium were stolen from a motel room in Hungry Horse.

Skis and ski poles were stolen Sunday at the Big Mountain resort.

An eagle collided with a car on U.S. 93. The eagle was transferred to a bird rehabilitator.
