Snyder leads Stillwater with 24 points

Bryce Snyder scored 24 points Monday helping Stillwater Christian School (SCS) defeat Mt. Baker from Cranbrook, British Columbia, 63-56, at SCS.

Stillwater moves to 9-2 overall on the season.

"Playing smart defense and getting the ball inside to Bryce Snyder was the key to the game." said Stillwater coach Dana Hashley.

"Snyder finished a lot of tough shots in a very physical battle."

With three minutes left in the contest, Hashley said the Cougars extended a three-point lead by using quick passes through, around and over a full-court press.

Stillwater led 28-26 at the half and outscored Mt. Baker 35-30 in the final half.

The British Columbia school trailed at the half, 20-16.

Brittany Downing led Stillwater offensively with 21 points.
