Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested a man, 30, on suspicion of resisting arrest and obstructing justice after a reported disturbance at his father's house on the 1200 block of First Avenue West.

A resident on the 500 block of 10th Avenue West found a litter of puppies that apparently had been abandoned under the porch by a stray mother. An officer was able to get the puppies out, and the homeowner agreed to care for them and work with the area Humane Society.
