Frozen Pipes lead to fire

Evergreen firefighters battle a fire that started beneath a mobile home Friday afternoon on Whitefish Stage Road. The owner of the trailer was trying to thaw frozen pipes with a kerosene heater when the insulation beneath the home caught on fire. The bottom of the trailer and one bedroom were damaged by flames and the rest of the trailer was extensively damaged by smoke, according to firefighters. Chris Jordan photos/Daily Inter Lake
