Bradley Joseph Lowney, 36

Bradley Joseph Lowney, 36, a Kalispell resident, passed peacefully in his sleep at his home on Jan. 9, 2007, of natural causes. He was born Sept. 6, 1970, in Salt Lake City at Holy Cross Hospital.

He attended grade school at West Lake, Utah and graduated from high school at Laser in Kalispell. He attended FVCC for over a year and Salish Kootenai College for four years.

Brad loved his friends dearly, of which there were many. He was an avid sports fan and loved his computer and to dress up. He also learned how to operate and enjoy doing laundry at home where he lived with his brother Scott at their apartment on Airport Road.

Brad was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Joseph Patrick Lowney; his father, John J. Lowney; his maternal grandfather, Joseph Hayden Frye and paternal grandmother, Isabel Mary Downey Lowney.

He is survived by his mother Maeloye Frye, her companion, Gene Speelman; his brothers, Jeffrey J. Lowney and Scott R. Lowney, all of Kalispell. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Lillian Myrle Frye of Richfield, Utah; two aunts: Rita and spouse Allen Willardson of Gunnison, Utah, and Judy Stewart of Richfield, Utah; uncles: Ted and spouse Jenny Frye, of Kearns, Utah; Ron and spouse Toni Frye, of West Valley, Utah; Val and spouse Melree Frye of West Jordan, Utah; and Shon and spouse Brenda Frye of Sigurd, Utah; one niece, Breanna May Lowney, of Kalispell; and one nephew, Jacob John Lowney of Kalispell; as well as numerous cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. at Johnson Mortuary, Tuesday, Jan. 16. Burial will follow at Conrad Memorial Cemetery. Cremation will follow. The family suggests memorials be sent to Flathead Valley Community College or Salish Kootenai College.
