Kalispell police started out with a traffic stop in Lowe's parking lot, but ended up with a driver who was charged with obstructing a peace officer.

Stop calling, police told a woman's ex-husband. Twenty-two calls in two hours is too much, then said.

After he was treated for a jaw broken during an assault, police took a 30-year-old man into custody on a warrant for partner or family member assault.

Wrestling around and being noisy, especially if you live in an upstairs apartment, is not the way to avoid having neighbors ask police to check on you.

The eight or nine guys congregating in the street apparently had no guns, contrary to one report. They went their peaceful ways when officers suggested they do so.

Sober up and come to the station tomorrow if you want to press charges, police told tenants in turmoil.
