The Flathead County Sheriff's Office charged a 44-year-old man Sunday night on suspicion of sexual intercourse without consent and DUI. His victim reported the incident, saying he took her to his former home. She did not know where he was by the time she got to a phone. An hour later, another report came in that he was intoxicated and trying to take his children from their home. Deputies caught up with him shortly after.

A 48-year-old man was charged on suspicion of partner or family member assault and negligent endangerment after an incident in Bigfork early Monday.

The snowboarder was robbed of his ride, so he chased the thief and then followed the vehicle down the Blacktail Mountain road. No word about recovery.

Missing snowmobilers caused a scare when they were five hours late. They had broken down in the Challenge Creek area, but returned safely.

Two older men pretending to be Kirby vacuum salesmen came to the door, but weren't very professional, the caller said.

A backhoe turned up missing from Safeguard Mini Storage. Problem is, the caller said, all the backhoes have the same key.
