Abuse call nets arrest of caller

| January 17, 2007 1:00 AM

Whitefish police answered a domestic-disturbance call to a home on Karrow Avenue, and arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of partner or family-member assault. While there, they spotted drug paraphernalia beside the 30-year-old girlfriend who placed the call. She was arrested, too.

The 19-year-old man was in city court only for dog violations, but he disrupted proceedings with profanity and the loudness with which he delivered them. The judge warned him three times. The offender continued. Police arrested him for contempt of court.

Two teen boys did a disappearing act on police after somebody spotted them in a carport on Sixth Street.
