Steven Mark Davidson, 51

Steven Mark Davidson, 51, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at his home in Kalispell. He was born Dec. 12, 1955, in Houston to Jack and Esther (Pellman) Davidson.

Steve was an active member of a 12-step group for the past 20 years. He was a local politician and AIDS activist. He worked statewide to raise awareness that AIDS affects all demographic groups. A disabled man, Steve loved his Belgian tervuran service dog, Rocky, who traveled with him always.

Steve is survived by his best friend, Margaret Hardman-Muye, of Houston; and countless recovering friends across the United States. He is also survived by his mother, Ester Davidson, brother, Irv Davidson, and sister, Barbara Davidson, all of Houston; and sister, Ruth Brower, of Delaware.

Funeral services for Steve will be held Jan. 19 in Houston.

The family suggests donations be sent to Flathead AIDS Council, 723 Fifth Ave. E., Kalispell, MT 59901.
