The Flathead County sheriff investigated two reports of a man in Forest Acres who abuses his dog. The first caller reported that the dog was left outside with no food or water. The second report was that he had asked someone to bring a gun so it could be shot, and that he had beaten it with a hammer last week. The animal warden took on the case.
Deputies investigated phone threats, a reported theft and a man who was knocked down by a car at a gas station.
Footprints on a wooden box near a window roused suspicion on Conrad Drive.
A wife's call for help occurred after a man's drinking and a disturbance at the Bigfork home.
A woman's arm bled after another woman bit it during a disturbance.
