Kalispell police
Kalispell police arrested a 17-year-old boy Tuesday at Flathead High School on suspicion of possession of tobacco and dangerous drugs.
Reckless driving was rampant. It happened on U.S. 93 with honking, flashing lights and unsafe passing; at Fifth Avenue West and Center Street with passing in the turn lane, pulling in front of a vehicle and slamming on the brakes; and at Fifth Avenue West North and West Montana with two stop-sign violations and a near-hit of another vehicle.
Another bad driver hit a fence on 12th Avenue West. Police caught up to the 19-year-old man and charged him with his second DUI, failure to notify by the quickest means and failure to notify the property owner of damage.
A 49-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant and was charged with probation violation. A man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
The stereo was stolen, and now the broken-into Pathfinder won't start.
Annoying noise came in the form of loud music from the upstairs apartment and from a construction site at 10 p.m.
Be careful to whom you lend your car. This owner loaned a car to a friend and found it had been in a wreck Wednesday morning. Highway Patrol officers said the wreck was west of town, and the car was parked in a lot west of Batavia Road. It had a flat front tire but was drivable.
A 19-year-old woman was arrested on a felony warrant for criminal endangerment, and DUI.
Police were called to a fight at Flathead High School just before noon Wednesday.
