David W. Baker Sr., 67

David W. Baker Sr., 67, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, in Hungry Horse.

He was born Oct. 30, 1939, in Kalispell, to C. Everett and Clara G. Baker.

Survivors include his children, Lonnie, of Olympia, Wash.; Janie, of Missoula; David Jr., of Washington; and Paula, of Missoula; grandsons, Mathew and Christopher; granddaughters, Sylvia and Sydney; honorary son and best friend, David "Oscar" Gillespie and his wife, Annissa, and their children, Lance, Jamie, Miranda (Bear) and Gunner; brothers, Leroy and Martin Baker; sister, Sylvia Hatten; and the many, many friends who loved him as a lover of all animals, a trusted friend, and very giving person.

We will miss you.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Whitefish Christian Church, 914 Second Street, in Whitefish.

Arrangements are with the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.
