Whitefish police charged a 16-year-old boy with possession of drug paraphernalia Friday at Whitefish High School.
Apparently contrite, the driver surrendered at the police station Friday for a hit-and-run that happened Wednesday.
Better to have a valid driver's license and liability insurance if you're driving, a 61-year-old woman learned after police charged her with lack thereof.
Police, fire and ambulance were called, but the yellow Labrador retriever got itself out of the cold river behind Geddes Avenue. He went to spend a couple days at Whitefish Animal Hospital.
