Drunken driver became a drunken runner

| January 21, 2007 1:00 AM

After pursuing a man for several minutes - first in a car, then on foot - a Kalispell police officer finally caught and arrested him. He was charged with resisting arrest, eluding a police officer, drunken driving, driving without a valid license and speeding.

Police arrested a drunken driver during a traffic stop. A 19-year-old man was arrested for possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia.

A dark-clad, bespectacled woman created a traffic hazard when she decided to walk in the middle of the road.

A woman on First Avenue West asked to speak with an officer about a neighbor shooting at her dog with a BB gun.

A coin collection, valued at upwards of $4,000, was stolen from a Fourth Avenue West residence.

The woman whose wallet was stolen at Finish Line Cocktail Lounge & Casino found it in the bathroom - minus the diamond ring and $100 cash it once contained.
