Flathead County Sheriff's Department received multiple reports of family member assault Friday and Saturday. One resulted in the arrest of a 23-year-old man, who reportedly hit his wife in the head with a cane and broke her car windows. He said she'd tried to run him over in the car. Kalispell Fire Department ambulance took them to the hospital; then deputies took him to jail.

A man threatened to hit someone in the head with a mop.

Deputies cited a woman for drunken driving.

A homeless man reportedly urinated in public, threw his duffle bag into a pine tree and took off down U.S. 2 East with a brown guitar.

A Columbia Falls man believes he found two stolen snowmobiles.
