Columbia Falls police warns teen

Columbia Falls police warned the teen to stay away and even gave him a ride, but the 15-year-old boy returned to Mike's Conoco. He was charged with panhandling and disorderly conduct.

Be alert for phone fraud: Somebody who called a Columbia Falls woman said he was from a national security company and needed her checking account information. She reported it to her bank, which will pass on the alert to other banks in the valley.

Assault charges against a 31-year-old woman resulted from an altercation at the Bandit Bar. There were cuts, but no weapons.

A 23-year-old woman got a DUI charge after police stopped her on U.S. 2 east of the Blue Moon.

A boy at Columbia Falls High School was charged Monday morning with possession of drug paraphernalia.
