The Abominable Snowboard Man ran amok Saturday on Big Mountain with the Flathead County Sheriff's Office yeti to find the thief or thieves.

Seven snowboards were reported stolen in four calls to the Sheriff's Office between 8 and 9 p.m. Saturday on Big Mountain.

In other possible ski-resort mayhem, two vehicles hit telephone poles on Big Mountain Road late Saturday evening. No injuries occurred.

Meanwhile, a Cesna airplane with electrical problems landed safely late Saturday afternoon at Glacier Park International Airport.

Two horses and two mules were found wandering along the old Montana 35 early Sunday morning. They were herded back to their corral.

Six hours later, five horses were spotted trotting along Montana 35. Their owner picked them up.

A house on Bowman Drive was found paintballed Sunday morning.
