Cougars roll to two easy wins

HAYDEN LAKE, Idaho -

Stillwater Christian School rolled to a pair of easy victories over the weekend to improve to 12-7 overall in girls basketball.

Emma Miller tossed in 15 points to lead the Cougars to a 50-14 victory over North Idaho Christian School on Friday.

On Saturday, Brittany Downing led the way with 12 points in a 58-19 win over Christian Heritage School.

"We played a consistent game and everyone contributed to a great team win," said SCS coach Paula Meyer of the North Idaho contest.

"This was a fun weekend. We played great team basketball, everyone hustled and played together."

Downing had 13 rebounds to lead the Cougars against North Idaho.

Lindsey Vanderark, Emma Miller and Downing each pulled down 10 rebounds against Christian Heritage.

Downing also had six steals in that contest.
