Kalispell police found the fire was inside the pit, it was before 11 p.m. and therefore legal, and there was no underage drinking. That's the result of an investigation into a report of a possible fight brewing in Woodland Park.

Icy roads didn't help matters when a school bus and car collided Monday at Ninth Street and Fourth Avenue East. Nobody was hurt.
