Separate funerals, memorial funds planned

Two sets of memorial funds and two separate funeral services are planned for Loic Rogers.

The family of the boy's mother will hold a life celebration and potluck meal at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Community Kitchen at the fairgrounds in Kalispell.

Loic's father's family will hold a memorial service at 3 p.m. Thursday at New Covenant Fellowship, 436 Birch Grove Road near Kalispell.

The boy's parents, Mark and Ariel Rogers, are separated and involved in a custody battle over the couple's remaining two children.

Maternal family members have established a fund in memory of Loic Rogers to help pay for memorial services and defray family expenses. Donations to the Loic Rogers Memorial Fund may be dropped off or mailed to West One Bank, P.O. Box 7758, Kalispell, MT 59904.

Paternal family members ask that memorials be made to the Discovery Developmental Center, The Nurturing Center or New Covenant Fellowship.
