Janet 'Jan' Marie Ferragamo, 50

Janet "Jan" Marie Ferragamo, 50, passed away approximately June 21, 2007, at her home in Kalispell. She was born Jan. 25, 1957, in Kalispell, to Charles and Peggy Aurand.

Jan grew up in Columbia Falls and attended Columbia Falls High School. She later received her GED in Dixon, N.D.

She married Shawn Lake in 1981. They had a son, Christopher Lake. They were later divorced and she married Steve Ferragamo on April 13, 1986, in Las Vegas.

She worked at Wendy's, Hardee's, Big League Bagels, and Wal-Mart.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, drawing and watching the soaps, especially "Days of Our Lives." She also loved whales and her Dioxin dogs, Bruiser, Cedar and Pinky Lee.

Jan was a member of the Girl Scouts in 1969 and UNICEF.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mathew Adams; her husband, Steve Ferragamo; three aunts and two uncles; and her beloved dog, Bruiser.

She is now survived by her son, Christopher Lake, and wife Jamie of Kalispell; one brother, Daniel Aurand, of Kalispell; one sister, Charlene White, of Columbia Falls; her parents, Charles and Peggy Aurand, of Columbia Falls; three grandchildren, Ryder Allan Lake, Hunter James Fleming and Parker Robinsons; two stepdaughters, Laurie Robinsons and Lisa Ferragamo, both of Wyoming; and one nephew, Keegan Charles White. She also leaves behind her two beloved dogs; Cedar and Pinky Lee.

Memorial services for Janet Ferragamo will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, in the Johnson Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Hunter Green officiating. Urn burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls.
