Edward 'Ed' Miles Warren, 83

Edward "Ed" Miles Warren, 83, passed away at his Kalispell residence after a lengthy illness Saturday, July 7, 2007.

He was born and educated in Spokane, graduating from Whitworth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration.

During World War II he was in the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific, North Atlantic and Caribbean.

In 1949 Edward married Evelyn McHugh. They made their home in Spokane until moving to Kalispell in 1975.

Ed worked for the Daily Inter Lake with the circulation department.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and oldest son, Edward Arthur Warren.

He is survived by Evelyn, his wife of 57 years; two daughters, Katherine Amende of Everett, Wash., and Janice Warren of Spokane; three sons, Timothy of Kalispell, Joseph of Angel Fire, N.M., and Robert of Walla Walla, Wash.

Visitation for Edward will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home with a rosary beginning at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:10 p.m. on Thursday July 12, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. Cremation will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to hospice or the charity of your choice. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
