Lakers crush Black Hills, 21-0

WHITEFISH - The Kalispell Lakers Class AA American Legion baseball team ended the 23rd Annual Sapa-Johnsrud Memorial Baseball Tournament Saturday on a good note … A real good note.

Greg Neils pitched a complete-game shutout and the Lakers pounded Black Hills pitching for 20 hits in a 21-0 victory.

Geoff Hogan, Brian Sneck and Tucker Hankinson each had three hits. Hogan hit a home run and added four RBIs. Hankinson had a double and six RBIs and Neils had three RBIs.

Neils allowed just five hits and a walk while striking out four.

The Lakers improved to 25-26 on the season. They play Glacier in a Western AA game Tuesday night in Kalispell.
