Sara June Carter, 22

Sara June Carter, 22, of Columbia Falls, was 'peacefully taken to our Lord' on Thursday, July 12, 2007. She was born Nov. 19, 1984, in Everett, Wash., to Kris and Denise Carter. She was the eldest of three children. She attended St. Mary Magdalene Church/School in Everett for her first five school years. She later moved to Columbia Falls, where she graduated with high honors in 2003 at Columbia Falls High School. She was a varsity soccer and tennis player for the Columbia Falls Wildkats. In 2004, she received her cosmetology license in Kalispell.

Sara is preceded in death by her gramps, Frank Carter and her grandma, Glenys June Keller, both of Everett.

Sara is survived by her parents, Kris and Denise Carter; her loving and devoted fianc/, Brian Calderwood; her two younger siblings, Kris Carter Jr. and Lisa Carter; her loving grandparents, Grammy Pauline Carter and Grandpa Anton Keller; and her great aunts, uncles; numerous aunts and uncles; and cousins, by whom she was dearly loved.

'You were such a wonderful daughter, admired by your brother and sister. You had so many friends who loved you. You'll always be remembered for your vivacious spirit, your love of life, your smile that was as wide as the ocean, your laugh that would throw us all into fits of joy, and the biggest bluest eyes.

'Sara our precious little Dolly, sorry that you had so little time to play. Now you are borne on angels' wings to our heavenly Father, forever in His loving care.

'You are the light at the end of all our tunnels. With all our love, our precious doll, until we meet in heaven.'

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 19, at St. Richard's Catholic Church in Columbia Falls. The Rev. John Miller will officiate. Burial will be afterward in St. Richard's Catholic Cemetery.
