Leroy B. Berg, 87

Leroy B. Berg, 87, died on July 16, 2007, at his home in Kalispell.

Leroy was born on Oct. 10, 1919, in Shelby, to Conrad and Alma Sweno Berg.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theatre during World War II.

Leroy married Mary Lou Moore in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, in 1973.

He worked most of his life in construction, ending up as a superintendent.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge.

He loved hunting, fishing and later RVing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Alma Berg.

He is survived by his children, Conrad A. Berg of Chino Valley, Ariz., Cindy Lukreilein and Patti Lee Schooler, both of Jasper, Ind., and Timothy L. Berg of Columbia Falls; a sister, Ester Lloyd; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Private family memorial services will be held.

The family requests memorials he made to the American Lung Association or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Association.
