Twisted case goes to county

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies were investigating an assault in Hungry Horse where two women allegedly attacked another woman on Ninth Avenue West. Deputies got three versions of events, so they are going to let the County Attorney's Office sort it out.

A 1985 Honda was stolen from where it was parked on 13th Street South near Columbia Falls.

An asphalt plant on Holt Stage Road was vandalized.

Deputies broke up two domestic disturbances. One was on Berne Road and the other was on Shady Lane.

Cattle got loose on Birch Grove Road.

A dog bit somebody on Stonefield Lane. Animal wardens responded and put the dog in quarantine.

Deputies were called to break up a group of kids drinking on Canyon Road in Hungry Horse. A minor in possession of alcohol was also reported west of Murray Lake.

A deer and a car collided on U.S. 2 near Kila.

The owner of a business on U.S. 93 in Lakeside had a window shattered. Deputies have no suspects.

A gunshot was reported near Kokanee Bend.
