Harry W. Fry, 75

Harry W. Fry, 75, passed away Monday July 16, 2007, at Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell. Harry was born March 22, 1932, in Bozeman. He was raised in Ennis, Thompson Falls, and Butte, graduating from Butte High School.

Harry earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the College of Engineering at Montana State College in Bozeman.

Harry married Keige (Sally) Mosby, who is deceased, in 1954, in Miles City. They were married for 40 years.

In 1995 he married Donna Bork Craver in Butte and had been married for 12 years.

Harry worked for Dow Chemical, Mattel Toys and then 25 years with Snap-On Tools, where he retired as senior vice-president in charge of administration.

He was the volunteer executive director in the Kenosha, Wis., area development council for five years. Several industrial parks were developed under his leadership.

Harry was a charter member of the Kalispell Daybreak Rotary; a member of the Rotary in Kenosha, Boy Scouts, United Way board director, and involved in Girl Scout fund raising, and other community activities, all in Kenosha.

Harry worked with the Rotary Club for the Flathead Youth Home. He enjoyed Montana, music, travel, hiking, family, friends, reading, newspapers, listening to TV (news, music, and weather), golf and skiing.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Naida (Wellman) Fry; and a sister, Betty Fry Bieber.

He is survived by his wife, Donna, of Kalispell; son, Ronald Scot Fry, and wife, Susan Fry, of Racine, Wis.; daughter, Valerie, and husband, Rob Sarich, of Hebron, Ill.; brothers and sisters, William and wife Peg Fry of Billings, Carolyn Fry Severson of Henderson, Nev.; stepsons, Nathan and wife Rose Craver of Martinez, Calif., Daniel Craver of Kalispell, and Alan and wife Tamara Craver of Victorville, Calif.; grandchildren, Hillary Fry of Glasgow, Scotland, and Rachael Fry of Hebron; stepgrandchildren, Jared Craver of Hollister, Calif., Andrea Craver of La Honda, Calif., and Lilianne and Kimberly Craver, both of Victorville, Calif.; nieces and nephews, Carol Fry Ohs and children, Stephanie, Brian and Derek; Doug and Annie Fry and children, Tychia and Kelsey; and Mark and Andrea Fry and children, Dylan and Kaitlyn.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, at Epworth United Methodist Church with a reception luncheon following in the fellowship hall.
